The Great Gatsby: The Tabletop Roleplaying Game

On January 1st, 2021, F. Scott Fitzgerald’s novel The Great Gatsby, widely considered one of the all time greatest works of American literature, entered the public domain. In this game, you and a group of friends play as a group of public domain characters who find themselves in the world of The Great Gatsby. Will you be able to prevent the death of Myrtle? Can you solve the mystery of what Dr. T.J. Eckleburg’s billboard means? Will Gatsby and Nick finally get to kiss? Will you beat on, boats against the current, borne back ceaselessly into the past? The only way to find out is to play!

This game, for several players and a GM, will require one or more six sided dice, and a pen and paper may be useful as well. You might also want to have a copy of the novel on hand, but a six page summary of the events of each chapter is included as well. The game is 10 pages long as a whole. 2 PDFs are included, one with the full game, and one with only the first page, which is all that should be shown to players.
